Cristiano Ronaldo may have scored the winning penalty in last Saturday's Champions League final but his off the pitch actions are generating just as much praise as his on pitch heroics.
Seconds after winning Real Madrid their 11th Champions League crown, Ronaldo was widely celebrated for stopping to take photos with a group of disabled fans, and the striker will have further endeared himself to the public with his latest gesture.
Spanish journalist Pipi Estrada has told Defensa Central that Ronaldo has opted to donate his Champions League win bonus, €600,000, to an NGO charity.
Ronaldo's recent philanthropy comes after a season where he scored 51 goals in 48 games and won his third European Cup medal.
