'You can't compare to Cristiano,' said Portugal and Southampton defender Cedric Soares. 'It is impossible. He is the best in the world and he has showed it so many times.
'Of course, you can say Pogba and Griezmann are fantastic players as well, I totally agree. But Cristiano Ronaldo is the best in the world.'
Ronaldo appears to be relaxed and refreshed after being given a week off by manager Fernando Santos after the Champions League final, to recover from his endeavours with Real Madrid.
