Paris Saint-Germain's Thiago Silva has said he believes Cristiano Ronaldo will leave Real Madrid and join the Ligue 1 champions.
The Brazilian told RMC (h/t Goal) he thinks the Portuguese is the best player on the planet and that he would adapt to life in Paris with ease as he already speaks French:
I do not know [if Ronaldo will sign] but it's fun playing with such major players. Ronaldo is the best player in the world. If the club wants him, of course the PSG squad would be happy.
He is a very good player, technically essential for all teams in the world and especially for PSG, who have a big dream to win the Champions League with great players.
I think Ronaldo will come. I do not know what happened with [PSG manager Laurent] Blanc after the game because he did not say but I hope [there were positive talks between the two].
He speaks French very well, perhaps better than me, and if it happens next year he will have no difficulty speaking with the media.

Ronaldo lit the fuse when Madrid beat PSG in the Champions League recently, as he was pictured whispering into the ear of Blanc on the touchline.
French newspaper L'Equipe (h/t Will Giles of Metro) reported Ronaldo is now considering his options, as Manchester United and an unnamed MLS side also stand by with offers.
However, Real coach Rafael Benitez remained relaxed about the reports surrounding the player, despite Ronaldo telling FHM (h/t ESPN FC), "I'm not shutting the door on any league or on any place."
